I am passionate about visual identity, typography, print/editorial, and digital design, with experience specializing in these areas both in the private sector and academically. My focus is on creating compelling work and managing projects from concept to completion.

I am a visual communication designer, working independently and within Fevkalade, a visual design studio I co-founded in 2009, and also a lecturer at Binghamton University, NY. I am passionate about typographic perfection, grid systems, and color interactions. These passions of mine make me question how to get to the best design solution and how to do it in the simplest way.

Approach

As an independent designer, I work closely with my clients. Clear communication and an efficient collaboration allow me to understand the problem, empathize, and make well-informed design decisions that align with the project’s objectives.

My meticulous attention to detail in the design process is driven by the belief that nuances differentiate average design from exceptional, echoing the words of Charles and Ray Eames: ‘The details are not details; they make the product.’ In my creative process, I deal with every level including refining letterforms, designing typographic systems, creating grid structures and layouts, constructing color palettes, and selecting physical materials. I ensure all elements work coherently across different media and platforms, from digital to print.

My design ethos is rooted in simplicity and functionality, aiming to deliver solutions that are both timeless and impactful.
